update

I spent this morning at the beach, enjoying the sun and reading 'to kill a mockingbird'. People-watching here is an extreme sport - everyone is doing something worth watching. As i sat among naked babies & half-naked adults, it hit me that I didn't feel so much life a tourist anymore. Granted, I was reading an english novel & sitting next to a group of british tourists, but still. It's taken me about a week to realize I'm here to stay, I don't have to rush, I can relax! I met Katreena for lunch at the marina - we had a HUGE lunch!! I had canelas & paella. The meal ends with ice cream, espresso, cake & some kind of green liquor meant to "help with digestion". It smelled & tasted like rubbing alcohol. :P I got home to discover that our water had been turned back on! I excitedly showered (and quickly, in case it went off again) & headed to my class, marketing, where I still sit as I write this. The teacher tends to ramble on a bit so I have time to do this. This is my only class without an attendance policy, but I enjoy hearing him ramble too much to play hooky. Tomorrow we head to Sitges for the day... but unfortunately I got too much sun this morning. After class I'm going to buy aloe, sunblock & peanut butter. I really want peanut butter.
